z-o-o-m (zoom) Fileuploader & RS account manager - plus other cool features/tools

This isn't a guide per-se, as zoom is easy to use, but I will outline some features.

1a). For uploading to your free or premium account, make sure to go in

tools=>settings=>filehosters=> and

i) choose host you want to upload to from the download menu
ii) put in your mu acct name and pass,
iii) make sure to check the box "use account"
iv) click "add/edit" button

v) add in as many mu accounts as you want, at the top of the filehosters screen, highlight the account you wish to upload to and click the "use account button" if that account is not already chosen.

1b). For uploading to multiple hosters at the same time, see these screenshots.

Add a file and on the right there is a BIG bar with ">>" ... click on it

These screens illustrate this:

add a file, then you see this screen, and you will see the ">>" in the red circle, click on it:

This is the result, many hosters to choose from:

Then checkmark all the hosts you want to upload the file to.

2. Also in tools menu, parallel upload count (I prefer 2, total speed is better)

3. Tools menu also offers additional features:

a) Rapidshare manager
b) Rapidshare linkkeeper
c) Premium Link grabber
d) Link Checker
e) Link Sorter
f) Remote Upload

g) Hotfile Manager
h) Filefactory Manager

a) Rapidshare manager - A file manager to quickly see your rapidshare account information and very easily copy your rapidshare links to your clipboard, sort, and view number of downloads. You don't need registered version or premium to use this feature.

i) Go to Tools=> rapidshare manager. Enter username and password (collectors or premium).

ii) To refresh, just place curser at end of password and press enter.

b) Rapidshare linkkeeper

RS Link Keeper is for "extending" your file's life on RS, i.e. if you have a collector's account and your files are not downloaded, you can use this to make them live longer (you need registered version and premium account to use this).

c) Premium Link grabber -

Generate Premium Links using your premium account (i.e. you need premium and registered version to use this feature).

To use this with megaupload, you must first log into your megaupload premium account, go into "my account" and make sure the box next to direct downloads is not checked.

d) Link Checker - Works for many filehosters, self explanatory I hope. It's called "Link Checker and Protect Grabber" in tools menu (You don't need registered version or premium to use this feature)

e) Link Sorter - Self Explanatory

f) Remote Upload - You will have to experiment with this, as of now, I haven't

g) Hotfile manager - A file manager to quickly see your hotfile account information and very easily copy your links to your clipboard, sort, and view number of downloads. You don't need registered version or premium to use this feature.

h) Filefactory manager - A file manager to quickly see your Filefactory account information and very easily copy your links to your clipboard, sort, and view number of downloads. You don't need registered version or premium to use this feature.

Some features above may not be perfected yet, you can go to the zoom site and post any issues you have.

This is my fileuploader of choice, but I have found it has a few quirks.

1. The biggest tip I can give: don't refresh filemanager (via megamanager) while u are uploading, files won't go into your acct (but there is a trick to get them there quickly.

When your files finish uploading via zoom...then and only then, refresh filemanager tab on megamanager and make sure files are there...may have to refresh a few times.

2. If something gets messed up and your files do not appear in your account within a reasonable amount of time, try this:

So sometimes, for example, I up 4 files and I check filemanager in MegaManager and only, like 3 are there, but they were for sure uploaded, and I have 4 links from zoom right, so say part 4 isn't in mu account.

I go into mu.com through browser, log in, click multifile uploader, then go through process of uploading part 4, and in a few seconds, it usually gives me a NEW mu link to part 4, so you now have a link that is in your acct, (i just ignore the one that zoom gave then).....go back to MM filemanager and confirm new link is there.

If it doesn't give you a new link the first time (i.e. mu.com gives you the same zoom link you have), log out of mu thru browser and log back in, try again.

If it gives you the zoom link again, that probably means it is the correct link/it is in your account.

Also regardless of the method used to upload, this is an easy way to check/get the correct links for your files.

edit: reread the website.

I think it needs a registration key before other hosts are enabled?

Many fuctions are available without key.

I have no idea what you mean by "other hosts".

The creator of zoom labels what functions are only available with a key. I have tried my best to label those functions above.

Nice tut I will have to give this a try since it has alot of options I have been looking for.
